Acer k272hul monitor stand tv#
After seeing text size on here though I would not want to see a 4k resolution on anything smaller than a 40" tv I thinkīottom line if you can get it under $250 I dont think youll be disappointed unless youre a ips color snob or worried about 60hz
Acer k272hul monitor stand 1080p#
Seeing the difference from 1080p to 1440 makes me want even more screen real estate. Overall Review: There does seem to be some minor ghosting with test but I still need to download call of duty (only fps I play) to see if its bad or notįor $200 this is by far the best 1440p I could find after weeks of waiting and watching through the holiday sales and my only regret now is not going with 4k. I think 32" would probably be the sweet spot but price difference is insane I personally feel 27/28" is too small for 1440p. The neck from the base to the monitor is very wobbly (as I type this I can see the monitor wobble back and forth) Ive never used or cared for vesa mounts but I think Im gonna have to start with this monitor. Dang near a foot wide circle but I dont think Ill ever have to worry about tipping it over. Only the korean monitors are priced that lowĬons: The base is huge. Had it out of the box and running in just a few minutes Neck slides onto the back of the monitor and theres a single screw for the base with a thing to screw it in by hand. Very minor adjusting needed out of the box for decent picture quality (was a bit too bright by default for my liking) Im no color snob so my idea of great does not apply to the "ips is king" people The extra real estate for windows is a game changer. Pros: This thing is just amazing coming from a 24" 1080p. I haven't used them and most likely will never use them, so I cannot comment on them. I didn't plan on buying a monitor for the speakers, so I can't exactly call it a negative that they suck. Overall Review: I loved this so much as soon as it arrived that I bought another one about an hour later. If I wasn't so inclined with computer hardware, I may have had trouble putting the stand into the monitor. It's so huge! Compared to my older, smaller monitors with lower resolution, it'so amazingly sharp and I'm stunned at the clarity.Ĭons: Documentation is lacking. Colors are great, response time seems good. I don't get what people are saying about the wobbly stand - this one wobbles less than my other two monitors. The monitor is a bit bright, which is fine.
I put the stand together, which wasn't hard at all, and stood it up. It came undamaged, with no dead pixels or noticeable light bleeding.
Pros: I searched high and low, and this monitor met my pricing and quality needs.
